Woman uses gun to Save family: Alabama

WALKER CO. - A Walker County woman was forced to shoot an intruder to protect herself and her children.

It happened Tuesday morning on Sellers Hollow Road in the city of Dora.

Martha Lewis says she immediately called police and woke up her daughters.

Lewis says she gave the intruder several warnings before shooting, but he wouldn't listen.

Sounds like a good shoot. I'm happy she was able to protect her family.

Hope the intruder takes this as a lesson learned the hard way.

So instead of begging the combative-minded intruder to not harm her children or herself, she shot him.

Good for her.

However, it appears that he is going to recover and have an opportunity to have a criminal career as a recidivist.

In-depth scientific studies show that if this woman had not had a gun, this gun violence would not have occurred. I hope she feels proud, she has contributed to America's world leading gun violence. And for what--to save her sorry hide and those of her daughters?!!

But the worst part is that she had her daughters arm themselves with an axe and a butcher knife. Doesn't she know that, though axes and butcher knives are still legal, they are gateway drugs to GUNZ!!!!!11!!!

This is a terrible and unfit mother. Better, by far, to suffer whatever this intruder would have done with her and her daughters than to resort to gun violence. All guns should be banned!!1!!!

Oh, I almost forgot to add, this woman is a crazy, right wing nut too--probably a teabagger. She didn't mention Obama's name, but she said some silly nonsense about banning guns!

That's just crazy. NO ONE WANTS TO BAN GUNS. Why can't these nuts get that through their heads?

It's satire, an intentional caricature with intentional exaggeration, not addressed at any particular person.
