Anyone laid hands on a Sig P938

After church today one of the guys showed me his newest Sig. Wow what an amazing little pocket 9mm. This is the first pistol that made me kinda want to give up carrying my LCP as my primary CCW.

His was a "Nightmare" version, night sights and all. The only thing I'd like to see is it be DA/SA but I suppose cocked and locked is fine and dandy.

I may have to put one of these on my must have list for 2013 once they work out any bugs they're having. (from the sig forum)

Because it was in my pocket loaded.

You know sky daddy can't be there all the time...better safe than dead. As I always say.

... people in the exercise of their 1st amendment rights shouldn't be allowed protection according to their 2nd amendment rights?

Churches, temples and synagogues are in fact the targets of violent people with political and/or religious motivations -- for example

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Knoxville_Unitarian_Universalist_church_shooting

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wisconsin_Sikh_temple_shooting

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Los_Angeles_Jewish_Community_Center_shooting

I can't speak for churches -- but several synagogues in the US employ private (armed) security against any re-occurrence of just such a thing.

... more than a few homicidal lunatics see a religious service or institutions as "easy pickings" assuming they will be weapon-free.

Surprise!

Have you already forgotten about the attack on the Sikh temple?

This 9mm version is right up my alley. I'd wait a while though. These Sigs may end up as the premiere Colt Mustang replacement, but I'd let the rest of the early adopters work out all of the kinks first (p238 shenanigans).

I can't justify that kind of scratch for a 380 when there's nothing wrong with my LCP.

But a 938 really has my interest piqued....I love sig, and I really like the 938's size and features.

I didn't really want anymore pocket pistols, but this little 9mm seems like a winner.

on my mags though. My hands are too big for all of that non-sense.

This 938 could be the cat's behind so to speak if all the speculators are correct. Maybe Sig learned their lesson with the p238 and isn't looking to repeat it with this one.

I'd sell my LCP in heartbeat if this thing lives up to it's promise. 9mm is cheaper to practice with and there are real sights on it.
