One small plus in my life -- no longer checking to see if the Current feed is working.

I don't have cable. I get all of my entertainment online. So before the KO firing, at 5PM Pacific I always checked the RTV Current feed and my two alternates to see if the feed was working - had about a 50% hit rate -- and then if KO was working -- had about another 50% hit rate.

Now all I have to do is click on the RTV MSNBC feed, which almost always worked. I have two alternates for that feed as well.

I want KO to get the same gig Bill Maher has on HBO -- works when he wants, we love you anyway.

1. Sounds like maybe he was too liberal for Current, with the election coming up. A problem

with Michael Moore being on his show?? Good for him for his coverage of OWS and for having MM, another pioneer in the very small field of those who are willing to speak the truth about what goes on in this country on his show.

How quickly people forget. All those criticizing him now did not have half the guts he had when he was the only voice on TV daring to criticize the Bush gang.

I agree regarding HBO. I would love to see him do that, he can say what he wants and have whoever he wants on the show.

4. Sabrina, I have been so distressed by the DU reaction to Keith's firing.

Having read the lawsuit that was available online, I think Current treated Keith horribly. I also found their treatment of David Schuster dispicable. Trying to say anything supportive of Keith in General Discussion is impossible, so I've decided not to get involved in any more of the threads about Keith in that forum. I find the quick and superficial judgements to be too disheartening.

I hope he will find a new outlet that affords him the freedom that Current pretended to offer.

5. I had upgraded to Current only because Keith was on it. Now I never watch it. It's GOP non-stop.

I'm glad to see other liberal voices on Current, of course, but Keith was guy who'd say what you were thinking, and it was always refreshing.

6. Hi valerief. I haven't watched Current since Keith left either.

I follow him on Twitter. Most of his tweets are about baseball, with an occasional mention of politics. Such a waste not to have his voice during this election season.

JustinTV has it, then RTV says oh, no, no, no, we own that feed, and then it doesn't work most of the time. It's like okay, fine, I'll make do with Big Eddie.
