People all over our only world, most people, all have the same desires, needs, etc.

God bless them, be merciful unto them and us all, according to Your great mercies. Spare your Crown of Creation from all that is untoward and does harm. Set us again on a path of righteousness for many have taken another path. One that is of destruction and not goodness and light. Amen.

Hi, Rhiannon,
Hope you don't mind my post. It just spilled out. My heart is heavy for these who did not deserve the treatment they received.
Love you !

Each and every day something even worse seems to happen. I didn't vote for George H.W. Bush, but his policies were certainly a lot more compassionate than what we've got now. We keep hearing Trump's time is coming, but it keeps getting worse and why is it taking so long?? I also find myself posting things on DU that I wouldn't have before, I'm not used to feeling consistently angry...

It does seem to get worse daily in the realm of bizarre.

At least we got the House. A consolation. But who nows exactly how that matters if....? I shudder thoughts. Haven't thrown in my personal towel, but at this stage of my life, nevet expected anything close to this. Takes a toll.
Did you get to do Colbert last night? His monologue was a gigantic hoot.
Enjoy and appreciate all your posts.

Maybe I shared this before, but I had dental surgery on election day 2016. I fell asleep in front of the TV, watching the returns. I woke up at about 3am to see Trump and his entire extended family standing there! I wasn't sure if this was a bad dream or not - I keep hoping that I'll wake up!

And I did see Colbert and I sure agree - for some reason his monologue isn't available yet - it's usually uploaded an hour ago... And thank you, my friend! I hope that you're feeling better by now...

I'm doing somewhat better. Holding out seeing an orthopedic surgeon to see results of what happened and what they did to me.

Election night 2016 I was being elated then deflated in the worst imaginable way around 11 p.m when those states started going for *. I went to bed in a stupor and upon getting up the next morning, my brain thought it was a weird bad dream. But no, nothing had changed. I was sick. Nearly like when I was aware of what was unfolding on 9/11. Not quite, but a sense of devastation and despair.

Be well, dear one.
