By Associated Press, Updated: Wednesday, September 5, 9:05 AM

SANAA, Yemen — A Yemeni military official says a U.S. drone strike has hit a house owned by a senior member of al-Qaida, killing five suspected militants.

The official says a drone-fired missile struck a house Wednesday in a residential area on the outskirts of the city of Hadramawt. He says said the home’s owner, senior al-Qaida member Murad Ben Salem, was killed along with four other militants.
