Hiring veterans a former army medic

Yesterday my wife sat in on a interview for a gentleman. He was applying for a paralegal opening, at dinner last night she told me she was a yes for bringing him on board and the Human Resources manager was as well and she commented on how mature he is at such a young age. She asked me do army medics they do the same as our son in law. Who was a naval corpsman in Iraq and he walked with marine infantry and was wounded. I told her yes medics they are golden to a rifle platoon. This young man served in Afghanistan two tours. So he will be assigned and I guess be starting next week. He plans on continuing his education to get his law degree so perhaps this is a fine start for this former trooper.

During his 20 years he became an RN. Then he was running a local nursing school locally. Good people.

As a sailor, I would hang with one of our “doc’s” if there were Marines about to catch the drinks our doc couldn’t get to..
