Had 5 of them today. Just had fresh salmon and spinach for dinner. At the top end of healthy BMI. Looking to drop another 10 or 15 pounds by next summer. No hurry. Be 73 next month.

A double bonus. Followed by non fat yogurt and berries as dessert and I am good to go. Too bad many of these ingredients are out of my price range (fixed income).

Beans can be starchy and slow to digest. Even lentils are starchy, as are potatoes. Thus these groups can cause inflammation and are carb heavy.

Men in particular have to beware of purines vis a vis gout. So seafood, heart healthy, in slight moderation.

Why no lemons on there? Or EV Olive oil?

There is literally no such thing as a “superfood.” People of all ages need the same thing - a healthy diet and good exercise. Please leave the “superfood” and fad diet advice to slime like Dr. Oz.

for some people. Eating healthy is important for sure - for everyone. Not to rain on your parade, but I didn't check it out because I ended my subscription with AARP a long time ago when they would not allow Kucinich at a debate. Not sure of all the details, but he was my choice because he was anti-war. AARP did nothing for me anyway.
