My 1st ever OP, an apology to the Group.

I engaged DUer "brush" yesterday in a thread in GD. I disagreed with one of his posts, my initial reply to him was somewhat circumspect, but after that I closed my eyes and started blindly flailing away.

1SBM warned me and I realized his thread was addressed to me, I even acknowledged the wisdom. BUT, I didn't really listen.

I fuck up some times. When I do, I acknowledge it and repair the damage as best I can.

I've PMd brush with an apology. I also publicly apologized in that thread and deleted all my posts. I told him to leave his standing because I feel I deserve a public shaming.

I mean well, I do. Some of what I've posted in the last several weeks has done some good. I've erased that by getting full of myself. I'm very sorry, for offending brush, and for abusing the trust of everyone in this Group.

I make no excuses.

I'll stick around for an hour or so to respond to any questions or to listen to justified rebukes, then I'm going to impose a time-out on myself for a couple of days. Not to let my shame slide down the memory well, but to collect myself so I can act more civilized and re-earn your trust.

I'm sincerely sorry.

1. Don't feel TOO bad. I've shot my big, fat opinionated mouth off a few times also.

If I see somebody doing it..I shrug it off and think "Aw...they're just having a bad day"

I'll get over it, it isn't the 1st time I've stepped on my dick. I can't mistakes like that go away. I hurt somebody.

The best I can do is publicly acknowledge my error and correct my behavior.

3. You're the first person I've seen on DU apologize and acknowledge! This would be a better

place if more did that.
