Anyone wanna take this one?

This letter to the editor was published in today's Dubuque Telegraph Herald;

Kudos to the Dubuque police. If someone has a previous drug conviction, I am glad that the police follow up to make sure he isn't high and driving behind a wheel where someone could be injured or killed by his impairment.

I am a white 50-year-old grandmother with two previous speeding tickets, and so I understand if I am watched for the same bad habit, as I could do harm if I continue to speed.

Ms. Sutton, a City Council member of all people, should be glad she didn't get a citation for not having proof of insurance and then have to go to court. It seems to be the police were almost prejudicially kind to her.

I don't know why Ms. Sutton and the TH are looking to stir an empty pot.

Displaying the usual attitude that this is OK because they're only going to profile the "other" peoples...

It's funny how much of white suburban America circa 2003 was onboard with the enhanced airport security until they started getting pulled out of line, too...

Some of these folks are acting as though TSA agents have mounted them while in the line at airport security.
