'Black Power Mixtape' to be screened at Wright museum

The Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History will launch a new monthly Liberation film series at 2 p.m. Saturday with a free screening of "Black Power Mixtape 1965-1975."

The film, produced by Danny Glover, is a documentary survey of the Black Power movement featuring rare footage, and a discussion of the movie led by professors Gloria (Aneb) House of the University of Michigan Dearborn, and Stephen Ward of the University of Michigan will follow.
