But hopefully this conversation won't get pushed down too far on Coates' timeline. https://twitter.com/tanehisicoates

If people scroll down the link there, they'll get the discussion.

On warrens speech but he is going to get back to it tomorrow, then I went to see what Charles Blow was up to about Warren. I hope she clues in some of her friends what all this activism is about, people trying to tell folks what the problem is and they're getting all defensive. Warren still didn't hit all the concerns but at least there's acknowledgement that economic equality does not solve racism. I wonder what pushed her to make this speech? This is not a new problem.
Coates is brilliant. My grandson is a comic book addict so the black panther comic is going to be great.

He's just too avid a Twitter-er. Ta-Nehisi OTOH tweets in spurts, so even when he's talking about something I don't care about (e.g. Kendrick Lamar) I can just tune him out for a second. Deray just tweets and tweets and tweets....it makes me tired.

I know I have students who will be all over that.

I'll check out the twitter convo on the Warren speech. Should be interesting!

It's just tricky following different timelines sometimes! I wish DU supported storify embedding.

I guess I'm getting to old to be sharing on all these new fangled sites. I'm not even that good at facebook. I only got a facebook acct because HuffPo wouldn't let me post any remarks with-out it and then most of the time I can't find the responses of those talking back to me. So, I just gave up on reading responses.
