Happy Juneteenth!

Hope all those who celebrate this day are happy and healthy, and, probably by now, full of delicious food.

I only became aware of this historic day a couple of years ago, and should have been taught about it growing up. Learned today that it's based on what happened in Texas over 100 years ago.

Every kid should learn this history, if for no other reason than to stop history repeating itself.

Best to all revelers. And if someone you know is unaware, fill them in. This needs to be common knowledge.

But delayed by the "masters" who kept them in the dark. This kind of shit wants to keep repeating, in that minimum wage is still $7.25/hour, which no one can live on. It's out in the open now, but no one in DC wants to do shit about it.
