Officer fired for stopping a colleague's chokehold
In 2006 officer Cariol Horn (black) stepped in when her partner (white) was choking an assailant (black) who said he couldn’t breathe.
Her partner punched her in the face and she was subsequently fired and her pension taken. A New York court just ruled in her favor and reinstated her pension. More at the link: https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.washingtonpost.com/nation/2021/04/14/cariol-horne-pension-ruling/%3foutputType=amp

3. She became homeless for a bit after she was fired. The other guy
slammed 4 teens heads against a car during an arrest later on in his "illustrious" career and ended up in jail. (As It Happens - CBC Radio)
