and you are an established creator and/or you have a solid hook. Would you take your idea to Image where you keep control over your intellectual property or would you take it to DC where what you create becomes their property? So if you can't grab established creators or solid hooks, what does that leave Vertigo - not a lot as it turns out.

What is sickening though is how much of the right wing anti-sjw side of the fence is crowing about "Get Woke / Go Broke." The truth is that comics in their current form (i.e. brick and mortar) are going to struggle unless they can offer more than just comics. I read the bulk of my comics on Comixology so wouldn't affect me too much but I understand how depressing it is to watch those types of shops shut down (I felt the same way when most of the record shops shut down due to I-Tunes and other music sites.
