Comic Books
Related: About this forumSo what did you pull in comics this week?
Anything good?
The Batman Eternal story line seems to be developing nicely. Not sure if that will continue when Snyder stops writing it.
I started on the new Hulk only because my store had the Skottie Young variant for #1 and pulled the second one. It's an interesting concept for the Hulk.
Avengers was pretty solid and introduced some cool stuff. Hickman knows how to build a big story, that's for sure.
Got the Amazing Spider Man but will probably read it this weekend when I have more time.

(43,865 posts)About once a year I pick up a graphic novel. That's about it.
Codeine
(25,586 posts)Batgirl Annual, Batman Eternal, Silver Surfer #2, and Flash Annual. Kids picked up a couple of Adventure Times and a Scribblenauts figure for the little one.
Next week will see a much larger haul, plus this Saturday is Free Comic Book Day.
Goblinmonger
(22,340 posts)I grabbed the first one and it just didn't do enough to get me to pick up #2 on Wednesday.
Codeine
(25,586 posts)I love the character so I'm inclined to give it a few more issues to find its feet, but I'm not having the evangelical reaction I had when I started reading Waid's Daredevil or Fraction's Hawkeye. It's got a real throwback vibe to it that I need to wrap my head around.
GOLGO 13
(1,681 posts)Killing the Watcher is pretty damn ballsy. The revealed secrets that directly affect Thor & Spiderman is goddamn amazing! Supposedly the Hulk is profoundly angry with Tony Stark for something Stark did in the past.
Goblinmonger
(22,340 posts)and I gasped when I read his reveal.
A Hulk/Stark comic came out on Wednesday. I didn't pull it but I may still if there are copies left when I go back next Wednesday.
