Hands down, my favorite is Garth Ennis. Specifically, his work on Hitman.

(1,536 posts)His New Teen Titans and Tomb of Dracula magazine are, to me, two of the best runs of comics ever.
Not to mention other things like Crisis.
Else You Are Mad
(3,040 posts)Never read much of Tomb of Dracula, but after I finish Werewolf by Night it is on my list of Marvel horror. After binge watching Daredevil last night on netflix to get ready for the Punisher in season 2, I would be remiss in saying after Miller, my fav daredevil writer was Wolfman.

(12 posts)He brought Marvelman back, only with a postmodern edge. In DC Moore created John Constantine. Without Moore we wouldnt have seen Vertigo. This influence is massive.
Else You Are Mad
(3,040 posts)His run on Swamp Thing was hugely influential and was the reason Constantine was created!
