1. Shemp was my 3rd Stooge.

When I saw the Stooges shorts as a kid (late 40s, early 50s) the three were always Larry, Moe and Shemp. Curly was before I was old enough to go to the movies. I'm sorry to hear that Shemp Howard is not in the new movie. He was very, very funny.

2. and I thought the 3 Stooges movie was a documentary about

the three GOP candidates who won primaries in 2012 ...

4. Why can't there be a Marx Bros. movie?!

5. Minnie's Boys was Broadway show.

Back in 1970 Minnie's Boys was a Broadway musical based on their life. Shelley Winters played Minnie their mother. Unfortunately it flopped playing less that 100 performances.

8. Groucho was my favorite. I love smart alecks.

9. My fave's Duck Soup

My high school also did Cocoanuts as a play, where my oldest brother played Chico.

Sounds like a great time with your brother. I'm going to look over Duck Soup and see if it's the one I remember, with them on the ship. A Night At The Opera was one of my favorites as well. And when I was a kid Groucho was on television, too.

12. It was a game show, don't know if he owned it. Don't even remember the name, but he was a crack up.
