Blindfolds and Sundries.
I wound up being asked to post this by another poster earlier today. A textbook case of my fingers doing the poetry thing when I don't mean for them to.You said,
"The water is perfect,
why not stop the whining
and take a dip?"
The "water" you speak of
is soiled
with runoff from fracking,
the blood of innocents,
and the powder of munitions
we keep selling to Saudi Arabia--
who need I remind you,
created the very same brand of Islam
that ISIS worships.
The water is only perfect
if you're blindfolded.
