Teacher charged with having sex with eighth-grader on class trip

Jacqueline Nicole Muller, a 26-year-old female teacher at Salem Lutheran School in Glendale, was arrested Monday on charges of first-degree child sexual abuse after the encounter with the 14-year-old male student at a hotel in the nation’s capital on May 9, according to charging documents obtained by WRC-TV.

After connecting on Instagram in March, the boy told police he and Muller began talking about photography and other mutual interests before they kissed about a month later ... Muller and the teen allegedly had sex at a Hyatt Place hotel in southwest Washington, just blocks away from the National Mall. They also had sex a second time later that day at another hotel in Virginia, authorities said.

The alleged encounters came to light when the teen’s parents discovered text messages on his phone, some of which indicated a relationship well beyond a typical teacher-student bond.The teen’s parents also learned from other chaperones that their son had been alone with Muller for about an hour one night during the trip. The boy later told his father about the secret meetings, WRC-TV reports.

Ali Smyser, president of Salem Lutheran Church, told The Post that Muller resigned after law enforcement officials were notified of the allegations. “Salem Lutheran Church and School takes the safety of our students very seriously and will always do everything in our power to protect them,” Smyser said in a statement. “It is not our intention to comment further on this matter while it is being adjudicated.”

Attempts to reach Muller were not successful.

as he was not old enough to give legal consent. I wish the police and media would get that through their thick skulls when it come to crimes like this.

So true! Really some men especially think if it's a female teacher coming on to a teenage male student, it's not a big deal vs. a male teacher doing the same to a teenage female student. That defense in Tampa, FL worked for Debra who got House Arrest then ironically the Police Detective took naked photos of Debra then it got leaked out so he was fired. Most don't get your point under the age means even if the student engages in the sexual act they were still minors. Debra went on to have twins with a redneck bar owner so hopefully the male victim in that case as well as this one both got therapy. Even so, left with psychological damage with teachers who crossed that line.

Women are sexual assaulters too! In fact many victims turn around and do it themselves if they do not get therapy and help. It is common in the clergy. Asia Argento is a giant hypocrite as one of the biggest mouths in the Me Too movement. I hope the movement doesn't suffer due to her crime.
*Update:She is now saying she is the victim of the actual victim. Someone needs therapy ASAP!

Really, you nailed it. I couldn't believe that Asia Argent the "victim" then turns out to be a Sexual Predator of a 17 year old who she got Anthony Bourdain to pay off. The Biggest Hypocrite ever!

She is a real winner. And has the nerve to blame Bourdain when he isn't even here to defend himself. Poor man, she broke his heart by cheating on him with Hugo Clement and the rest is history.
