Curfew eased so Tonya Couch can seek job
Monica Hernandez, WFAA 12:38 PM. CDT June 20, 2016
TARRANT COUNTY -- Tonya Couch appeared in court Monday for what would have been her first hearing since a Tarrant County grand jury indicted her on charges of money laundering and hindering apprehension.
Couch is the mother of so-called "affluenza" teen Ethan Couch.
Both sides agreed to reschedule the hearing, said Couch's attorney Don Carter, to allow more time for their investigation.
A new date for the hearing was not immediately set.
Couch's bond conditions were eased so she can look for a job, said Carter. She is currently under house arrest, and was wearing a GPS monitor in court.
