3. I think what was meant is that she was not the owner. The dog simply reacted to the situation.

10. It's interesting that the dog seemed notice something about the guy that got

his attention before he attempted to rob the woman. Perhaps adrenaline pumping prior to the attack had him giving off a smell that the dog recognized as aggressive.
