There is nothing on Newsmeat regarding Brady but he is an Independent according to what he says, publicly anyways.

KROFT: You a republican or a democrat?

BRADY: You know, I'm actually independent. I'm actually an independent, and I have been for some time. There's no doubt this world needs a lot of help.

It's good that he's never said anything about politics...concentrate on the game, become a teabagger later like Schilling when no one remembers you!

Steve Young will always be one of my most favorite players in any sport. I don't care how he votes. I don't care how any of my team's players vote. In fact, I'd prefer not to know their politics. And I'd prefer politics stays out of sports.

There's no way that the guy who went on to break baseball's color barrier would vote for ANY of today's GOP candidates.

But I didn't realize how strong his views were until I saw this list and see him ranked third six years after he died.
