No, these are football scores Jack Rabbit Jun 2012 #2
No. They are soccer scores. In football, you use your foot. >> El Supremo Jun 2012 #3

. . . feet are the principal method of moving the ball. Moreover, use of hands is illegal, unless you are the goalkeeper.

So my football has more right to be called football than your football.

But wait! Isn't the punter or kicker like a designated hitter? So based on your logic, American football really isn't football after all. The kickers and punters should also play in the backfield. Now how exciting would that be???

American rugby is a game that allows free substitutions.

Also, in American rugby, there was a time when it was not unusual for the kicker or punter to play another position. Take for example Paul Hornung, who was the kicker and star running back for the Packers, or Max McGee, who was the punter and wide receiver for the same team.

Wow! Now the NFL doesn't deserve to be called football as the American League doesn't deserve to be called baseball. I'm sure you just added a lot of people who disagree with you to your list.

The NFL doesn't deserve to be called Football. They play American rugby.

George Blanda was an excellent quarterback and place kicker for the American rugby team called the Oakland Raiders, but what other positions he or other place kickers play has nothing to do with the price of beans in Kansas.

There is no such thing as soccer. What Americans call soccer is football. What Americans call football is American rugby.

The American League doesn't deserve to be called baseball, you finally got that right.

Now, let's see if you can follow this: Who's on first; What's on second; Idunno's on third.
