That was a legendary drive. It's only too bad that no one will remember it because it happened in week 2.

shedded the Dilfer label. Well, I thought he did after the divisional round of the playoffs last year but the NFC Championship kind of brought it back though I felt NYG did an excellent job staying glued to the receivers.

He is 40/57, 437 yards, 7.67 YPA, 4 TD, 0 INT

Alex just needed to move them into FG range one more time and he couldn't do it. That rightfully leaves questions, even though he was going up against a real tough defense, with limited weapons, and Manning wasn't having any better success against the 49ers...

Strange thing is, if Kyle Williams had been returning punts for the Giants...it may have been Alex who ended up with all the plaudits last year instead of Eli..
