Belichik is facing a fine or worse (Original Post) Renew Deal Sep 2012 OP
LOL. The refs were horrific in this game, but you don't grab a ref like that Cali_Democrat Sep 2012 #1

$50G! bluedigger Sep 2012 #14
His estimated salary is $7.5 million a year. $50G is pocket change. Auggie Sep 2012 #15
Yes, as a relative amount, it is piddling. bluedigger Sep 2012 #16
Yeah, I think a suspension would be in order too. Auggie Sep 2012 #17

In the NBA they're VERY strict about it, I'm not sure what happens in the NFL.

The officiating was -- at best - inconsistent. I suspect the pressure will ratchet up on the NFL to get the experienced refs back. The refs also lost control of the end of the Bengals-Redskins game.

To your point -- it wasn't malicious, but it was improper. I'll guess $5,000 fine.

Were you the referee?

The replays weren't clear at all, and the ref had the best look at it.

It wasn't...and there was no way to challenge it because those calls cannot be over-ruled...the Pats were screwed...all NFL is getting screwed with these idiot replacement refs.

I read an article today from ESPN that said it was good. I saw the video and it wasn't clear, but it looked good. So how do you know it wasn't?

But these scab refs suck and suck hard. Bill was right, hell, he should have been punching them.

But it isn't chump change, either. I'm surprised they didn't suspend him for a game, actually.
