Greetings from Petco Park!

This experience was totally embarrassing. I do not exaggerate by stating that there were more Dodgers fans in attendance than Padres fans. They were very happy because their LaLa boys creamed the Pads. The ball park is great even though.

BTW, I'm here checking out a place to retire to. And if the traffic jam on I5 North after the game is any indication of what I would have to look forward to, you can take all of California and stick it up Auggie's and Jack Rabbit's derrieres!

but it is a nice park with good food and local micros on tap. lots of folks, myself included, are excited and looking forward to next season with the new ownership. and yeah, it gets congested along the major arteries around the time you would've left the game.

My GPS said to get on the Coast Highway. Big help that was!

I got back "home" to Encinitas about two hours late. I've always heard about horrendous camageddons here, but I didn't expect it in San Diego county.

Hey, I just went swimming in the ocean. I don't think I'd want to in Alta California del Norte.

And this place reminds me of San Antonio! Even got the same names like "El Camino Real".
