with the league"s #1 defense, and with a playmaker like Russell Wilson, that very well could drastically change over the next couple of years

Cowboys: Check

Packers: Check

Panthers: Check

Patsies: Check

Last year, there were 4 pro-bowl QBs in the league... guess what else they have in common? All 4 have been beaten by the 'Hawks this year.
btw, how're your 'Phins making out?

but I think Miami is better than most people realize. They played a long overtime game against the New York Jets in Miami then traveled across country to Arizona and still was able to force overtime, then to Cincinnati and was able to pick up the win. Usually teams crumble in those type of situations.

Aside from opening day against Houston, Tannehill has been fairly consistent. Bush is running the ball well and they have one of the league's best run defenses. In fact, they're tied w/ Seattle in opponent yards per carry.

Maybe if he was smart, he wouldn`t have tried for the TD right before the half.

my allegences have always been pretty straight forward. Seahawks, Mariners and Hartford Whalwrs. Given the fact the the Whalers abandoned my beloved home state for North friggin Carolina, and that I have been a resident if the Pac NW for 23 years now, if I had to pick a replacement for my hockey team allegence, it would be the Canucks.

#1 defense in the NFL... and like I said upthread:
Cowpies: Check

Packers: Check

Cam Newton and the Panthers: Check

Patsies: Check

This team is on an upswing, and anybody who actually knows anything about football (i.e. not you) knows this.

The Cowboys are in disarray this year.

Packers may be good but have not looked it so far this year, except against an overrated Houston Texan team.

Cam Newton and the Panthers are horrific so far this year.

The Patsies are only 3-3 and last/first in the AFC Least.

Romo, who is usually pretty good at getting the ball down field was held to 6.3 YPA and the team to 7 points.

They held an extremely explosive Green Bay offense to just 5.7, who had 9.25 for the entire season last year. They also sacked him 9 times. Only 12 points allowed.

Cam Newton, despite the turnovers, is one of the lead leaders in ypa. 8.49 was held to 4.9.

Brady, was 6.8 which actually isn't that bad but below his usual average. He was also picked off twice.

I think it is an oversight to downgrade Seattle. They have a top 5 pass/rush defense, they run the ball very well and Russell Wilson is doing a pretty good job, not great at this point.
