Totally dating myself by calling it a bathing suit, though

I kind of like it. Maybe one day I can be a model. At 40 it's not likely

colored tubes. It was gorgeous. When I sewed swimsuits I forgot about that one. At least I think it was SISI. Then they went all bikini all the time. Ridiculous.

All I know is that none of women are shown swimming in them
because these suits would not stay on while swimming

One of his holiday gifts to me was to resubscribe to SI. I can honestly say that i used to throw away the swimsuit issue. My wife would get the mail, set the issue on the kitchen counter and i would toss it out.

I've never had any particular desire to look at it. Well, maybe when i was 18.

The nun that was the librarian there would cut out the pages with the swimsuit pictures and black out the naught bits on the cover. We never really appreciated that.

...and yet I have a subscription this year. But only because of the Packers Super Bowl Champs Tshirt and video.

Nice try trumad. Someday you\'ll get what I\'m talking about.

They're selling magazines. Oh, and readers' eyeballs to advertisers. As long as they've printed it, it's been the annual "please cancel my subscription" issue, but presumably the SI bean counters figure they more than make up for the business it loses with the business it would not otherwise receive.

At best it's an anachronism. And it's a fine example of why not everything that has "Sports" in the title is really about sports.
