(9,709 posts)and the Giants only have 9 home games left in the entire month...so the voting totals for SF's individual team members may slip. It's up to all Giants fans to make up for any votes lost by voting even more than usual..within the rules of course..

(9,709 posts)Belt is the better defensive 1B....
Auggie
(31,156 posts)has a .250 average overall, .438 slugging in 137 at bats.
Goldschmidt:
.330 average overall, .592 slugging in 206 at bats and with 13 home runs.
He hits over .300 versus left and right handed pitching.
Goldschmidt is one of the most exciting first baseman in the N.L.
You'd stuff the ballot box for Belt over Goldschmidt?
Upton
(9,709 posts)In fact, come to think of it, weren't you chiding me similarly for voting for the other Brandon last year? Perhaps I was a little ahead of myself, but Crawford has blossomed into one of the finest all around SS in MLB..
Votto has 1B all sewed up. Bochy will probably add Goldschmidt anyway..
Auggie
(31,156 posts)I like Crawford, but Tulo deserves to go ahead of him.
Upton
(9,709 posts)however, you did take issue with my vote for Belt and Crawford last year too.

Supporting him doesn't look so silly now, does it?
Tulo does deserve to go, and looking at the vote totals he will easily.. Unless he gets injured, which he's prone to do, and in that case Crawford should be the starter. Either way, he should be on the team..

(31,156 posts)I'm impressed you bothered to look up that exchange and even more impressed you remembered it.
I'm fans of these guys, but there are other players more deserving.
