Black Saturday: The Triangle Totally Humiliated

If you have spent any time in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill(aka The Triangle) area, then you know that the area regards itself as God's gift to college basketball.

Which is why yesterday was so enjoyable:

UNC 45, @Syracuse 57
Duke 59, @Clemson 72
@NCSU 45, Virginia 76

Hell yeah, I am gloating!!

All 3 Triangle teams currently have losing records in the ACC, with the Tar Heels being the only winless team in the conference.

My dream is an NCAA Tournament with no Duke, UNC or NC State in it. Could this be the year?

The one and done really evens the playing field....ACC possibly going upside down this year. NC State is awful (decimated with so many departures), UNC is just average (and Roy is pulling his hair out)...Duke has talent, but is unbalanced - no height - and in an unfamiliar place....losing!

I actually think mixing/changing of the guard is a good thing for sports.

And after all, my Pats won last night, so the Saturday wasn't completely black for me!
