2. at best, the media would be ignoring him, not having too many interviews. Faux would be deporting.

The problem with Tebow is not his beliefs ... it's the media hype of his beliefs and "how his faith" will send him into the stratosphere that gets under my skin.

This hype also diminishes the achievements of people who are equally or more true to their faith that don't show it off.

So, yeah, I was glad the Broncos didn't get to the Superbowl this year under T ... but I didn't exactly want New England to do it, either. Playoff history with the Steelers is what gets me there.

I admired the man's skill but his religious bent was a huge turnoff. He was a player not a hero...just like Tebow. As a side note, check out the footage of the first Lambeau Leap I posted the other day. There's awesome footage of a White to Butler TD on D. That's what football is about. Not religion, but talent.

11. I agree that football is about talent not at all about religion..

then, perhaps you can tell me, why so many DUers, even over in GD where they know little or nothing about sports, are criticizing Tebow solely on the basis of his faith..

For myself, I want politics, religion and sports to all remain separate. I'm not going to dislike a player just because I may not agree with his off the field views..

14. Some DUers who complain about Tebow's "prosthelytizing"

would instead be calling those who complain about it intolerant.
