2015 Kentucky Derby Prep - 2015 Gotham Stakes

A new tactic from El Kabeir. The former speedster comes from way off the pace to win the Gotham and pick up 50 pts toward the Derby.

Pletcher shipped him back to Florida. The owners sold a 25% stake in him and they plan on his next start being the Wood Memorial. He worked a half today in tandem with FOY winner Itsaknockout both going 49.97 9th best of 18.

I'm a little concerned about his owner, though. He was involved with IEAH, Jeff Mullins and the whole fiasco with Derby favorite I Want Revenge.
