Gore, the franchises career rushing leader who has spent his entire 10-year career with the 49ers, has said he will sign with the Eagles when free agency opens Tuesday, ESPN first reported. The reason, not surprisingly, could well be money: The Eagles have offered a three-year contract with $7.5 million guaranteed in the first two seasons.
Thats likely more than the 49ers are willing to spend on a player who has 2,442 career rushing attempts - the second-most among active running backs - and will turn 32 in May.
The 49ers may have communicated that to Gore, who questioned the teams commitment to him on his Instagram account last month. On Saturday night, Gores trainer at Undisputed Boxing Gym in San Carlos bashed the 49ers on his Facebook page.
It's over, Brian Schwartz wrote. Niners horrible business. You deserve everything thats coming your way.

Thank you, Frank Gore. You provided needed hope during the lean years. You've been the epitome of class and professionalism. Had your talents been fully employed 49er fans might have celebrated a Super Bowl victory ... or two.
