Finally! Some good sports news!!!

KEY BISCAYNE, Fla. -- Rafael Nadal was eliminated Sunday in the third round of the Miami Open by fellow Spaniard Fernando Verdasco 6-4, 2-6, 6-3.

Nadal, who was seeded second, has never won the tournament in 11 appearances. It's the only event he hasn't won in so many attempts.

Verdasco, seeded 29th, lost the first 13 times he played Nadal but has now beaten him twice in a row. The other victory came in 2012 in Madrid.

Nadal converted only three of 12 break-point chances and committed 40 unforced errors, with just 18 winners.

...... and he'll be 29 this year. I always suspected his decline would be much steeper than Federer's, whose style of play isn't nearly as taxing on the body.

I really do think he's done roids and other peds...it catches up with you. Djoker is a little more ohysical, too, so I can't see him going past 30...Nadal's style much more so, but there are similarities.

would be knocking out Nadal ... a lot of natural athletic talent but he was never a huge name. But then he hasn't beat up on his body like Rafa.

Now I don't think so, but as long as he keeps beating Rafroid, that's fine with me!
