From 1990-92, the Patriots had nine wins total.
Four were against the Colts.
Woof.

7. They signed Reggie Wayne
Seriously? After the offseason acrimony between the two teams, the Patriots went out and trolled Colts Nation by signing one of the franchises all-time beloved players.
Luckily for Reggie, his stay in New England was brief (two preseason games). Though on Waynes way out the door, former New England QB and blindly ardent Patriots defender Scott Zolak said the former Colts WR wanted out because playing for the Patriots was too tough and not fun.
Either that or Reggies conscience got the best of him.

4. Noted Superfan Joeybee
The man loudly announces to no one in particular that he's putting people on ignore. Typically in response to someone posting a news article.
Continues to taunt non-Patriots fans that he has placed on ignore.
He's the poster child for the stereotypical bad Patriots fan.

(9,527 posts)Although the author did stretch out New England's cheating to 3 points on his list. And that's if you don't count allowing the field to become a marsh before a big game to disadvantage the Colts' offense.

I ALMOST look forward to this game more than the SB as I hope the Pats run up the score 70-3.
I only wish the game was in NE but our fans don't forget.
How are the Seahawks doing? I love it!

(16,113 posts)He played in the complicated Manning system for years. In New England, it's simple. Step one: take air out of football. Step two: win. It's really simple. Now that the NFL is closely monitoring the ball inflation, I suspect the Patriots will be back to 8-8 in no time. I like the Colts chances this weekend in a fair game with proper ball inflation played in INDY.

(16,113 posts)The pats were winning games, now that the balls are now monitored by the eminently competent nfl staff, you can be sure that won't be an issue any longer. All things being equal now brady will throw a lot more picks and the pats will fumble a lot more. The low ball deflation enabled them to avoid those turnovers in previous years, or so I was told.

(64,990 posts)I don't believe it either. My biggest reason, despite the journeyman on ESPN saying otherwise, is that Aaron Rodgers says he likes the footballs at the upper end. So, either Rodgers is willfully trying to put his team at a competitive disadvantage, or 2 psig doesn't matter. Can't be both.
And, (iirc the range is 12.5 to 14.5) i can't accept that 12.3 (0.2 psig below the lower limit) is an advantage but 2.0 psig is not a disadvantage.
Lastly, i think the 12.5 to 14.5 came from a design engineer at Wilson who told the league what the bladder was designed to do for optimal performance. Since i doubt that engineer is an NFL quarterback, the values are arbitrary.
