Instead the team never came clean about how extensive their spying was (and for all the crying from both the Patriots and their fans about inaccurate leaks from the NFL about Tom Brady and the deflated footballs, we never heard one damn peep that the NFL vastly understated how much illegal video the Patriots had of other teams.) and trying to obfuscate around how much the footballs should have deflated and Brady just blatantly lying about not having any idea about the required inflation (again Patriots fans have for years crowed about how their team pays attention to all the details that other teams overlook, until they break the rules and then the team is nothing but innocent dunces).
