Related: About this forumLeBron James Scheming to Play With His Friends
http://www.bet.com/news/sports/2016/3/24/lebron-james-scheming-to-play-with-his-friends.htmlAfter unfollowing the Cleveland Cavaliers' official Twitter account earlier this week, the NBA superstar is openly talking about being able to join forces and play with his band of brothers Dwyane Wade, Carmelo Anthony and Chris Paul before they finish their careers.
"I really hope that, before our career is over, we can all play together," James told Bleacher Report, as part of a feature piece called Brotherhood, which documents the friendship between King James and Melo, in particular. "At least one, maybe one or two seasons me, Melo, D-Wade, CP we can get a year in. I would actually take a pay cut to do that. It would be pretty cool. I've definitely had thoughts about it."
"I don't know how realistic it could be," James continued. "It would definitely be cool if it happened, but we don't know how realistic it could be to have us four. But, I mean, if you got an opportunity to work with three of your best friends [you take it], no matter what. It's not even about sports. It's about being around guys that you don't even have to say nothing, you automatically know. We just have that type of history....
Yeah... we're sure Cavs fans are thrilled to hear this. LeBron's willingness to join forces with other stars is unbelievable, especially considering it's something that Michael Jordan and Kobe Bryant would have never done throughout their respective careers.

(31,156 posts)1. He might as well have fun as his playing career wanes ...
sure isn't getting it in Cleveland.

(16,113 posts)2. Yeah, and those guys aren't moving to Cleveland. I anxiously await his next idiotic special
where he announces where he's "taking his talents to", so I can not watch it. I hate to shit on the good people of Cleveland because things have been tough enough for them, but if he leaves AGAIN to play with his friends, you brought it on yourselves.

(31,156 posts)3. The franchise blew it with their coaching selection
DUer HughBeaumont, who posts here occasionally, has a most excellent rant on the futility of the Cleveland sporting scene. He points out how every franchise misses success due to a single key injury or missing component or expected performance, be it by player or coach. It's quite an excellent observation and one I readily share. I expect he will revise it with the next playoff series let down.
