I like Team North America made up of the best NA players 23 and younger. They crushed Finland yesterday.

1. I'm watching a game here and there, but I haven't really been following it.

I did notice that Kopitar was the European captain and Gaborik scored the game-winning goal against Jonathan Quick when Europe beat the USA 3-0.

2. Europe scored an overtime goal not to long ago

Against the Czech Republic. That was the first full game I watched. Caught a little bit of the first period last night before the Minnesota/Green Bay game where North America scored an early goal.

3. The North American juniors were handing it to Finland.

I think it was 4-0 last I checked.

4. Love Team North America

They had a tough loss to Russia last nite but you can't help the attitude these kids are showing.

7. Saw the highlight of that

great overtime with lots of back and forth.

Now if only the impossible happens and Finland can defeat Russia today to get NA into the semis.

On Streak for the Cash.... I have a W8 streak going with 9 riding on Russia. Though it's too late in the month to get a streak going, who knows? I might get lucky

6. Some of the games have been quite thrilling!

I expect that might be the case tonight in the Canada vs. Europe game.

I thought Team NA would surprise everyone, and they have not disappointed me. There's a hell of a lot of talent on that team. The only thing I hate about their existence is that it hurt Team USA. They could have used guys like Eichel and Matthews. Although, if they still had Torterella as coach, it might not matter. He is awful. What the hell was USA Hockey thinking when they hired him???
