Michael Vick officially retires

His passing stats won't get him in any conversations about the all-time greats. He will surely be remembered for the dog fighting conviction.

But he also holds the record for QB with the most rush yards in a career. Anyone think a current QB will break that record?

that he didn't have a bigger career and that his reputation hasn't fully recovered even after he completed his jail time and community service, but 6109 rushing yards for a QB is still pretty nice. At least he wasn't a cheater.

He's averaging about 590 yards per season, and is at 3566 for his career. His running numbers this year were his lowest yet (359--180 yards fewer than his previous low), and it seems reasonable to assume his numbers might not again consistently reach the 650/season he was averaging before this year. But I think eventually he'll reach that mark.
