Future Hall of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning could soon be joining Hall of Fame counterpart Troy Aikman in the Fox broadcast booth.
By now its well known that Fox is willing to pay Manning $10 million per year to make the shift to calling games. If thats the case, Aikman wants to be paid in kind.
He did also indicate that it would be awesome if Manning did end up with Fox.
Though, its not a surprise Aikman would attempt to use Mannings potential contract as a way to up his deal with Fox. Its smart business. Whether that happens remains to be seen.

I don't know about Peyton Manning but those I know refer to Troy Aikman and Joe Buck as Bevis and Butthead.

(7,488 posts)Aikman is a whiner from his days at Oklahoma. Manning has been credibly accused of sexual harassment. I'm sure that won't prevent him from getting the job. Joe Buck is hated by many in his native St. Louis.
