Mariners' stadium naming rights go to T-Mobile, Forbes says

The naming rights to the Mariners' stadium, known for nearly 20 years as Safeco Field, will go to telecommunications company T-Mobile, according to a Thursday morning report by Forbes.

Forbes cited anonymous sources in reporting the rumored $6 million-a-year deal.

Neither the Mariners nor T-Mobile have commented on the transaction.

Crews removed the Safeco Field lettering last week.
