but this is why they play the games.

Same deal over in the AL. In terms of talent, the Astros are head and shoulders above the Rays, but Game 5 tonight will decide it all.

After playing 162 regular-season games you want the "boys of summer" to add two more playoff games? They'll collapse of exhaustion!

Seriously, that regular season could stand being shortened a little anyway.

Baseball is such a random game they play a long season to weed out the pretenders now there is a 1 game wild card. A pretender could make it to the World Series under this format. The post season is the biggest reason why I don't watch baseball anymore.
