Ex-MLB player Aubrey Huff teaching sons to use guns in case Bernie Sanders becomes president
Former Major League Baseball player Aubrey Huff caused an uproar Tuesday, tweeting that he was training his sons to use guns in the "unlikely event" that Bernie Sanders becomes president, along with picture of a gun range target.
"Knowing how to effectively use a gun under socialism will be a must," Huff wrote, tagging the National Rifle Association in the tweet.
Huff, 42, played 13 big-league seasons and was part of the 2010 and 2012 San Francisco Giants teams that won the World Series.
Huff would go on to explain that he was training the kids in case there were "crazy people rioting and trying to break into my house for food or shelter."

I used to feel a little sorry for this guy. He was a gamer with S.F. Giants, and legged-out one of the most improbable inside-the-park homers in PacBell Park history his first season. Huff was an integral part of the Giants 2010 World Series run, but soon struggled at the plate in following years, culminating in panic/anxiety attacks in 2012. He just kind of vanished in thin air after suffering an injury celebrating Matt Cains perfect game.
But this Twitter shit is bad news -- reckless, dumb opinion that promulgates all sorts of false beliefs and polarizes people.
