Have no interest in watching the games, but I always love when the underdog wins. My alma mater Purdue is a number 1 seed, and I won't lose any sleep if they get beat.

in the last few days. UVa plays really close games so this isn’t that unexpected. Furman is 27-7 so obviously they are pretty good.

#16 UMBC (whatever that is) took out #1 UVA in 2018 (the first time that a 16 beat a 1). And in 2021 #13 Ohio beat #4 UVA.

At the age of 7 I happened to see them win the ACC when I turned on the TV. We’d just moved to Virginia, they’re winning, why not?

It’s been mostly brutal pain and suffering in basketball and football since. My wife sums up UVa sports as “Oh we’re winning, here would you like to have the ball?”
