after a prodding from me, landlord/neighbor just asked me (again!) for name of bamboo-removal place I'd sent him a while ago.

Just sent 2 (again!)

FINGERS CROSSED!

Going out now, to see who's flying around.

Good luck. Bamboo is a difficult plant to remove, if one has it growing in their yard. SWBTATTReg Mar 2023 #1

too tall for me to get pics of nest on the other side of it on top of 'boat house' on the creek. Nest visible on the right:

2d pic, from 2? years ago, nest on top of boat'house on creek. From 2d floor window. NOW, bamboo over growth has made it impossible to SEE the nest from this spot.

now that I've seen bamboo grow to incredible heights, and its root structure, I'm so glad that it didn't take off down there, they would have had a mess...but my Mom wanted it there where we planted it, it didn't seem to like the spot or it was just too cold for it to survive.

Again, good luck and bring extra tools to hack at the roots, prepare for some broken tools, ha ha heh. It's a tough plant.

Hoping the gardening/companies whose names I gave landlord can handle it (and not TOO expensive!)

I look forward to getting pics of the work in progress.
