UPDATE: I had to go out 1/2 hour ago and put out another 1/3 of a bottle to get through till dark. There were two The barred owls talking to me at the time. Third sample down is what I heard: http://www.allaboutbirds.org/guide/Barred_Owl/sounds

We don't have the camera up yet. Sorry. He was eating jelly. First time in a couple years we have seen one.

A common sparrow of the Great Plains, the male Lark Bunting is distinctive with its black body and white wings. It is the only sparrow that changes completely out of a bright breeding plumage into a drab winter one.

We know we have at least several more pairs of Orioles than last year. We have added two more jelly feeders.

We are going through 2 full 27oz jars of jelly a day. That is twice what we have ever done before. We used to buy birdberry until they quit selling it in gallon cans: http://www.songbirdessentials.com/store.php?prodID=37141&title=Birdberry_%28TM%29__Jelly_20_oz_itemno_SE6010

We feed the natural because there is no HFC for the birds or bees: https://www.welchs.com/products/jams-jellies-and-spreads/natural/natural-concord-grape-spread
