In case you’re interested, Cornell Ornithology Lab has wonderful online courses. I’ve taken several of them. They are very well done.

If you're serious about using it, getting an external microphone is a huge upgrade to your cell phone's mic.

They have an Android version too.

I've been using this one for a bit. It comes with a wind cover and I bought a cable and adapter for it. Works like a charm and is about 10 times better than the phone's mic.

I've never used it.

Just saw somethings flying over grove of trees on drive home; clicked. Looked like something(s) under all the greenery.

Will try to post later.
