These are wonderful photos! The African darter photo looks like a cool Audubon print. And the shoebill looks very neat.

2. Shoebills are impressive.

They've got a degree of binocular vision, so like owls, you really know it when they're looking at you.

And boy howdy do you see the theropod in them when they look at you.

3. One of my joys is listening to owls outside our home at night.

I don't know anything about shoebills but am now motivated to learn something new. Thanks!
