(24,455 posts)how much time do you spend daily documenting these beautiful raptors? Do you also shoot video as well? You should catalog and link when the season is over. Relly enjoy your pics!

(130,865 posts)this fairly typical pic is morning, from my bedroom window.
Note time stamp (which I keep deliberately, even tho some would rather not have pics cluttered with such.)
Here's an EARLIER morning pic, just about sunrise time, but raining so sun not visible:
I don't shoot video; tho camera is able, I haven't worked on the skill (and I rarely catch birds in motion; wildlife does what IT wants, of course!)
'Big' pic I caught (and posted) yesterday was at about 7 p.m, as I returned from grocery store, and was taken from a clear place to park, some yards from my house. (Have to 'negotiate' with the foliage, and hope neighbor/landlord prunes.) I do try to go out to catch them around 'dinner' and sunset time, but no guarantees.
I surely will inform when 'season is over,' but they do what THEY want; they may be around for another month or so. (Adults arrive around St. Pat's Day every spring, thank goodness!)
