2. They usually refurbish; MAYBE I'll catch them doing so.

As they just arrived, they're studying the situation and will hunt for replacement parts in the environs.

Changes will be subtle, even out of view; the nest has a depression, wherein the eggs lay, and I've never been able to see it.
